The Holidays are always a time for increased gratitude and I am immensely thankful for all of you. After months of changes in how we spend time with one another and move through daily life, 2021 stands before us, a beacon of light and hope.
Kudos to all of you for becoming more adaptable and resourceful! Surviving this pandemic has forced us to slow down, check in with ourselves and get reacquainted with the simpler things life offers. Who knew we would have taken time for self-care, which has inspired us to get to know neighbors, check out new walking paths, spend more time with our pets, and get reacquainted with friends and family, through video calls?
You are cooking more often, eating at home where you can control nutritious ingredients, and learning to shop and think about your meals differently.
Silver linings are often apparent to me and it is inspiring that personal hygiene has become top of mind and combined with improved public hygiene, has reduced the spread of COVID-19. Public spaces have never been so clean!
Are there negative events going on during this time? Of course, and in spite of the challenges, we watch and hope and pray for better times ahead in 2021.
I’m happy to be with you on your wellness journey and to be a part of your lives. You have many choices about how you stay well and I hope to always be there as a trusted advisor.
I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful, restful, and well-fed Holiday Season. I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
